Valeris is seeking a VP, Product – Data & Intelligence to build and lead the intelligence platform that will power the next generation of patient access operations.

This leader will own the product strategy and roadmap for how Valeris turns operational workflow data into actionable intelligence — surfacing bottlenecks, predicting where interventions matter most, and enabling AI-driven decisioning across the platform. The role is responsible for creating a shared intelligence layer that sits inside workflow execution environments and generates measurable value through visibility, prediction, optimization, and orchestration insights.

Valeris has meaningful data assets already in motion — including Policy Reporter, a proprietary coverage intelligence product that produces therapy area payer data used by hub agents, case managers, and field reimbursement managers across the country. The Data Intelligence team will consume and build on top of PR data as one input into the broader intelligence platform, alongside operational workflow data from patient access, affordability, and reimbursement systems.

The ideal candidate knows how to build operational intelligence systems that generate real-time insight at the point of care — and can translate complex, fragmented data ecosystems into scalable, product-grade capabilities that drive measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

Intelligence Platform Strategy & Vision

  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Valeris’ intelligence platform and operational data ecosystem.
  • Lead the evolution from fragmented reporting and siloed data into a scalable intelligence layer that powers workflow execution across the Valeris platform.
  • Partner with the Head of Innovation and executive leadership to establish operational intelligence as a core differentiator and long-term competitive advantage.
  • Identify and evaluate build / buy / partner opportunities across data aggregation, interoperability, analytics, and external ecosystem connectivity.

Journey Intelligence & Operational Insights

  • Build intelligence capabilities that provide real-time visibility into patient journey progression, operational friction, workflow bottlenecks, intervention effectiveness, and reimbursement complexity.
  • Develop predictive and analytical capabilities that support workflow optimization, orchestration decisions, prioritization, and operational acceleration.
  • Define and scale shared operational event models, workflow telemetry standards, and orchestration intelligence frameworks.
  • Translate workflow data into actionable insights that drive measurable improvements in patient access outcomes and operational performance.

Data Platform & Orchestration

  • Own the strategy and evolution of master data management (MDM), data orchestration, operational telemetry, reporting and analytics, and intelligence platform services.
  • Establish scalable approaches to data quality, interoperability, normalization, governance, and ecosystem integration — including Snowflake as the operational data platform.
  • Define the data contracts and platform standards that allow innovation teams and downstream systems to consume intelligence reliably.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Core Tech to ensure platform infrastructure supports the intelligence layer being built.

Cross-Team Intelligence Enablement

  • Serve as the intelligence and data product voice within the Innovation team — connecting data strategy to operational execution across Patient Access, Affordability, and Policy Reporter initiatives.
  • Partner with the Policy Reporter Innovation Lead to ensure PR coverage data is structured, exposed, and integrated as a platform-grade intelligence service.
  • Enable other innovation teams to consume shared intelligence capabilities without building duplicative data infrastructure.
  • Own initiative intake, evaluation, and business case development for intelligence and data platform investments.
  • Present roadmap recommendations and investment proposals to the Head of Innovation for prioritization and go/no-go decisions.

Team Leadership

  • Build and lead high-performing product, analytics, and intelligence teams.
  • Establish governance models that support shared platform capabilities, operational scalability, and intelligence standardization.
  • Foster a culture of operational curiosity, product thinking, experimentation, and measurable business impact.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of leadership experience across product management, operational intelligence, healthcare data platforms, analytics, workflow systems, or life sciences technology.
  • Experience building or scaling operational intelligence platforms, workflow analytics systems, predictive models, or data-driven product ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare, life sciences, patient access, reimbursement, specialty pharmacy, commercialization operations, or operational workflow platforms.
  • Demonstrated success translating complex operational workflows and fragmented data into scalable product capabilities.
  • Experience developing investment business cases, operational ROI models, and platform prioritization strategies.
  • Strong operational systems thinking and platform architecture expertise.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional product and operational transformation initiatives.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in HUB services, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement services, patient support programs, or commercialization infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with operational event models, interoperability ecosystems, APIs, MDM, workflow telemetry, and healthcare data governance.
  • Experience with coverage intelligence platforms, payer data products, or formulary data ecosystems.
  • Experience partnering with AI, automation, or orchestration platform organizations.
  • Experience evaluating external data partnerships, interoperability vendors, or ecosystem integrations such as Evernorth or MMIT.
  • Experience in SaaS, platform modernization, or services-to-product transformation environments.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you will help Valeris:

  • Build a scalable intelligence layer that powers patient access orchestration and operational optimization across the platform.
  • Create actionable, real-time visibility into workflow performance, patient journey friction, and operational bottlenecks.
  • Enable predictive insights and intelligence-driven decisioning that improve outcomes for patients, providers, and clients.
  • Establish shared data infrastructure and platform standards that all innovation teams build on.
  • Transform Valeris’ operational data — including coverage intelligence from Policy Reporter — into a long-term strategic differentiator.
  • Accelerate Valeris’ transition into an intelligence-driven orchestration platform.

Why This Role is Different

This is not a reporting and analytics role. It is not a data engineering role. It is a platform product leadership role at the center of Valeris’ transformation into a tech-enabled services company.

You will join Valeris’ Innovation team — a dedicated, protected organization built to move with speed and purpose. You will own the intelligence layer that every other innovation initiative depends on, and you will have the mandate, the engineering capacity, and the executive support to build it right.

The goal is not simply to improve reporting. It is to create an intelligence platform that changes how decisions get made, how workflows get optimized, and how Valeris delivers value to patients, providers, manufacturers, and clients.

The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time, use hands to type, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. • Although very minimal, flexibility to travel as needed is preferred.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.
